Dandelions on the Wind (Quilted Hearts, #1) by Mona Hodgson -A Must Love Art Book Review

Dandelions on the Wind (Quilted Hearts, #1)Dandelions on the Wind by Mona Hodgson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Short and sweet but what a sweet love story it is! Dandelions on the Wind is a short novella but it doesn't lack in story line or character development. I quickly felt drawn to the characters and the suffering, heartache and emotions they experienced. I found myself wishing for second chances and renewed hope for the main characters. The somewhat predictable happy ending was exactly how I had hoped it would be. The story reminds us that there is always hope and to never give up!

Secret SisterSecret Sister by Emelle Gamble
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Secret Sister is not my typical style of reading and I almost skipped over the book. I'm so glad I gave it a chance! On a whim, I decided to read the first chapter and just HAD to read more and find out what happened next. I found myself right in the middle of the story rooting for the characters as if they were my own friends. This story covers a range of issues and emotions that will have you both laughing and crying. Read the first chapter and you will not want to put it down!

Home by DarkHome by Dark by Marta Perry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Marta Perry delivers yet again! A little suspense, nostalgia, romance, redemption and justice all rolled into one beautiful package. If you are a "Marta fan," you will love Home by Dark. This story quickly pulled me in and I didn't want to put it down. I particularly enjoyed the Amish/English story line. Living in a small town myself, I could completely relate to the atmosphere of Deer Run. I can't wait for the sequel!
